A rustic old red barn, dating back to the 1850s has been painstakingly repaired and transformed into a unique wedding and event venue, and we hosted our first events and weddings this summer of 2022. Our Barn has maintained its historic authenticity and unique rustic charm. It can accommodate upwards of 150-175 people , depending on seating arrangements. The interior of the barn is spacious yet intimate with many original hand-hewn timbers and the character of a traditional New England barn. The bar area is unlike nothing else around. Our goal is to keep the rustic barn character intact, while bringing in the modern touches and conveniences. Magic loves it here!
Once it was the foundation for a large, 2-story chicken coop, built in the 1930s, and for decades was filled with over 1200 chickens. It was tucked into the hillside up behind the barn. But times changed and the chickens went away. Years of no use and decay put the structure into disrepair and in 2020 it was taken down. Much to our surprise, once demolished, underneath it all was a level concrete pad in relatively good condition - - hence our huge opportunity for “Coop Terrace,” which offers great indoor-outdoor opportunities (along with the unique "beer garden" setting with unique wooden pergola between the barn and Coop Terrace). This approximately 30’ x 70’ level terrace can now be covered by a large tent and is perfect for that special outdoor event. It has nice views of the yard, barn, ledges and to the surrounding hillsides.
